TS #7 Wonyoung

Yesterday Wonyoung and I covered minimal pairs to help with his /r/ and /l/ pronunciations. I used a list I found online, which was fun because he did not know some of the words so we were able learn some new vocabulary as well. He did very well! Especially after I gave him the tip to put the tip of his tongue behind his front teeth when pronouncing the /l/ sounds. We also talked a bit about Puerto Rican culture for some speaking practice. I left him with a homework assignment because I am going to be gone for the next two weeks, which is listen to an American DnD podcast that I thought he might enjoy, and tell me about it when I get back. DnD being an American game, and his interest in the fantasy genre, I figured he might enjoy it on top of using native speaker material as part of listening practice given that he is moving into group 4 classes.
