TS #4 Do-Jun
I met with Do-Jun today and corrected his writing sample per usual. As Do-Jun is a more advanced English speaker I tried to provide as many grammatical corrections as possible, I hope some of what I mentioned clicked. I didn't get around to creating the Old English film listening activity I wanted to do but I am going to do that today so I have it prepared for my next tutoring session. One thing I noticed is that it's really important to get students to talk as much as possible and to try and identify their own errors, I thought back to the saying "teach students how to fish" and I hope to implement that more in my remaining sessions. Additionally, after finishing about half of my sessions now, I've noticed that the more specific lessons are the better for both teachers and students so I'm going to integrate that knowledge into my session planning as well.
