Hours: 1
For this session, he talked more about his job as a journalist and Korea. He said that at first he was spending half the year in Korea and half the year in the US and then eventually decided to quit his job to be in Tallahassee with his family. He explained that it is very unusual in Korea for the husband to be the stay-at-home spouse, as it is usually the other way around. In Korea, it is expected that the wife is the one to be making sacrifices or adjustments for her husband. He said he was offered a position in the United States for the company he worked for but they would've had to relocate to Los Angeles, so he ultimately rejected the offer after considering it. He learned the phrase "turn[ed] down" which means to reject/decline.
